Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The panel of judges for the Road Haulage Association's essay competition in 1972 will consist of: Mr John L. Copland, general manager Road Services (Forth) Ltd; Mr F. R. Lyon, public relations office, RHA; Dr Clifford H. Sharp, Leicester University; Mr P. H. R. Turner, Coast Lines Ltd; and Sir Reginald Wilson, chairman, Transport Development Group.

The subject of the competition is "The Lorry — What Alternative?" With a few exceptions it is open to all members of the RHA and to their staff. The first prize is a gold medal and £52.50; the second prize £31.50; the third prize £16. Entries close on June 1.

The winner of the .first prize will be invited to present his essay as a paper for discussion at the RHA annual conference in Eastbourne on October 24, 1972.
