Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

'DESPITE a good deal of interest at the Amsterdam Show from new or fairly new models on a number of the major stands —DAF, for example, has new goods and passenger chassis—the most notable exhibit here is rather hidden away in one of the secondary stands. It is a Hino 9-ton chassis and marks the first time that a Japanese commercial vehicle in this category has been featured at a major European show.

The reason that the Marque is represented at Amsterdam is that from April this year Hino chassis will be assembled at Flushing, Holland by Automobile Fabriek Nederland NV. These will not be 9-tonners as exhibited, but 5-tonners. One of the latter being sent from Japan could not get here in time so the Show chassis was brought from an exhibition in Greece. The major DAF introduction is the SB 200-DO rear-engined bus chassis which has been designed to meet the specification of four Dutch municipalities—The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. The chassis is one of the first of orders for 50 and has a Leyland engine and Voith automatic transmission. A novel-design airsuspension system is employed. Other new DAF chassis are 4-and 6-wheelers.

New models recently described in COMMERCIAL MOTOR are featured by Volvo; Citroen has its 3.5-tonner.

On the International Harvester stand there is a Loadstar 1800 normal-control chassis which is one of the first to come from the company's Doncaster factory. As reported on pages 132-133 of this issue, production has begun there.
