FRANCOIS ZANNOTTI has resigned as president directeur general of Renault Vehicules Industriels, the parent company of Karrier Motors, the British Dodge/Renault organisation.
Mr Zannotti, who has been with Renault for 24 years, has been replaced by Pierre Semerena, who was director of planning and management services with Renault's car operations. Officially, Mr Semerena is only assuming Mr Zannotti's responsibilities, but his appointment as president director general will be considered by the Renault group board on December 15.
The changes follow the appointment of Bernard Hanon as group chairman earlier this year, but have no direct effect on the operations of Karrier.
