Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN application by Messrs. Card and Son, Devizes, to run coaches from Devizes barracks to London and six large provincial cities was unopposed by British Railways when it came before the Western Licensing Authority last week.

Mr. F. M. T. Littler, for the applicants, said that railway services for men going on leave from Devizes were

bad. The Authority said that BIZ., having withdrawn their objection, would apparently agree with this statement.

The application was granted.
