Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

After giving consideration to a list of tenders for buses complete and for bodies and chassis separately, the tramwayscommittee of the Exeter City Council has instructed the tramways manager to arrange for a demonstration and trial of 32-seater buses by the five following companies :—Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co., Ltd., Maudslay Motor Co., -Ltd., Leyland Motors, Ltd., Karrier Motors, Ltd., and the Associated Equipment Co., Ltd. The vehicles will be inspected and tested by the committee, and, subsequently, be on view for the remainder of the day for inspection by members of the council.

A Coach Owners' Insurance, Society. The Motor Coach Owners' Mutual Insurance Society was registered on November 19th to insure, on the mutual

principle, the members of the society against loss or damage or injury to, or caused by, any vehicle belonging to or used by them. The directors of the company are Messrs. T. R. Jenkins, H. Jones and E. R. Pickering, and the registered -offices are at 37,-Devonshire Chambers, Bishopsgate, -London, -E.C.2.

Thornycroft Models hi Demand.

John I. Thornyeroft and Co., Ltd., tells us that 'amongst reeent orders placed for various types of 'Thornycroft vehicles those for the 30-cwt. subsidy type and the 5-6-ton JJ model predominate, orders for the former including repeats from W. D. and H. 0. Wills, Ltd.-, for ten vans and from the Cheshire Lines Committee for, five similar vehicles. John Mowlem and Co.,. Ltd., and Allen-Livershlge, Ltd., are bnying vehicles of eneh type.
