Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Night bus travel continues to engage the keen interest of north-country proprietors, and the latest development is that of Mr. A. Elliott, a Newcastle owner, who is making plans to inaugurate a sleeper-coach service between Newcastle and London, a route over which there is still no service of this description, despite the preparations made some time ago by a Darlington undertaking to launch out in this direction.

Vehicles which embody a number of novel features so far as night travel is concerned are on order, and delivery is expected in the near future.

Meanwhile, many day-travel expansions are taking place in the area. The Leeds-Newcastle Omnibus Co., Ltd., which pioneered longdistance developments in the north by running a service joining up Tyneside with Leeds, is now proposing to run a service between Newcastle and York and Hull, whilst Messrs. George Galley, of Newcastle, who have discontinued their Newcastle-London service, are establishing one between Tyneside and York.
