MERCEDES-BENZ appears to be creating a new niche for itself to ill. Our spies have spotted this Sprinter 6x6 undergoing hotweather testing in Spain’s Sierra Nevada mountains.
The Sprinter looks very close to being production ready, complete with 817CDI badging, which would indicate a GVW of 7.5 tonnes. The BF Goodrich Mud Terrain A/T tyres suggest it should have serious offroad ability.
