ARMSTRONG World Industries, leading manufacturer of floor, ceiling and insulation products, has strengthened its distribution network by taking 24 trailers on contract hire from Rentco Nationwide.
The trailers, 15 Tautliners and nine flats, are all in customer livery and supplied on a two year contract which includes full maintenance and testing backup from Rentco. Previously, it hired from TIP.
Armstrong has manufacturing sites at Gateshead, Teeside and Oldham and distribution centres in London, Birmingham and Dublin.
Deliveries of a vast range of floor tiles, mineral fibre, ceilings materials and insulation products are made direct to customer or distribution centres with an almost 100 per cent fully laden backhaul of raw materials.
