VOLVO Trucks (Great Britain) has increased sales registrations in each of its four main trading sectors during the first six months of this year.
The company's overall registrations of 2,375 are up by 23 per cent. With more than 1,000 registrations in the over 29 tonne sector Volvo remains market leader, but it is in the over 16 tonne where greatest improvement has been achieved.
Sales of its F6 model rose to 674 — an increase of 60 per cent.
Sales of three axle rigids have increased by 20 per cent while sales of eight-wheelers show a small general increase. Volvo's penetration has risen from 21 per cent to 24 per cent.
