• By the end of March 1973, 50 per cent of the mileage covered by Coventry Corporation buses will be by oneman-operated vehicles.
The council's public transport committee has approved proposals which will increase the number of one-man-operated buses in the city. The plan also includes , the alteration of some routes and the reintroduction of some services which have been dropped.
The changes are expected to begin in the later part of the current financial year which ends next March.
