has been announced by C. A. Norgren Ltd. They are fully automatic and feature a variableorifice venturi section that accommodates, without adjustment, air flows from below 3 cu. ft./min to the maximum recommended flow for the pipe size.
The lubricators are designed to lubricate air-operated tools, cylinders, valves and so on. The range of lubricators offered covers pipe sizes up to 1.5 in and oil-reservoir capacities from 3 fluid oz to 5 gal.

Abrasive cartridge rolls
TIESIGNED for de-burring, finishing and polishing, a range of Ataroll highspeed abrasive cartridge rolls has been introduced by ATA (Grinding Processes) Ltd. in sizes up to I in diameter.
The rolls are manufactured from resinbonded cloth and the cartridges are either of cylindrical or tapered form. Both types can be used in conjunction with a hand grinder, electric drill, flexible-shaft assembly, bench grinder or drill press.

Hunter (London) Ltd., a special container hook is similar in shape to the semi-elliptical apertures in container lifting castings and after insertion is turned through an angle to give vertical lift and at the same time to lock the hook in position.
It is claimed that use of the hook cannot cause damage to the container. The range includes sets of hooks with lifting capacities of 3 tons to 25 tons.

Reversible ratchet spanners
ACOMPRESSION engaging pad giving engagement of 17 teeth is a feature of a new range of Dowidat reversible ratchet spanners announced by E. F. Allchin and Co. Ltd. The work load is shared by these teeth and the body of the spanner, and only 4+ deg of handle movement is required to turn the drive an equivalent of one tooth.
The range covers square drives of + in, in, + in, ?, in and 1 in.

TRANSISTORIZED alternator diode protection, an electronic circuit that eliminates battery discharge and an automatic therrno-sensor device giving protection against over-heating--these are features of two new Blackhawk battery chargers announced by Applied Power (UK) Ltd. Both also incorporate forced-air cooling in the interests of increased charger life.
The 24V system offers single hook-up charging of multiple batteries and all systems provide for high-rate charging or low rate continuous charging.
Rated at 12/6V, model TE 802 has a capacity of 60/100 amp, while model TE 801 is a 24/12/6V charger having a capacity of 40/80/120 amp, the input in both cases being 220/240V at 50 cycles a minute. A height of 33in, a width of 23in, and a depth of 16.5 in, are common to both models and the weight is 981b, and 1011b, respectively.
Other features of both models include a push-button by-pass energizer for charging or boosting completely dead batteries, a heavy-duty selenium rectifier and a heavyduty charge-rate switch. The TE 802 is equipped with a two-hour timer with a "hold" position, while the automatic two-hour timer of the 'IT 801 has "hold" and "slowcharge" settings.
