" UP to date, purchase tax has had no serious repercussions," said •Mr. W. G. Allen, chairman and managing director of Atkinson Lorries (Holdings), Ltd., at the annual general meeting last week. Last year, nearly a third of the output of Atkinson vehicles was exported, despite difficulties over import licences and currency.
