has purchased nine Welcome Break sites in a deal that takes its services area portfolio to 18. Extra, which opened Cobham services on the M25 last year, has bought nine freeholds, including M40 Oxford, M3 Fleet, M42 Hopwood and M62 Hartshead Moor.
A spokeswoman confirmed to CM that there was no intention to rebrand the sites as Extra at present. Chief executive Andrew Long, said: "We look forward to working with our selected tenants to optimise the provision of good quality facilities."
