• Stopchek is a portable in-cab brake efficiency computer from Trolex.
The self-powered unit is placed in the cab on a level surface and a switch is attached to the brake pedal.
When the vehicle is stopped by a full pressure brake application a digital readout will show the peak deceleration, average retardation and stopping time. Readings are independent of vehicle speed and slopes are compensated for.
