• The Volvo Bus Corporation has completed its 15,000th BlOM chassis at its Swedish assembly plant at Boras. Over 85% of all chassis currently manufactured by Volvo are mid-engined models; according to the company the midengined BlOM, which was introduced in 1980, is the best-selling chassis type in the western world.
