• The first of 13 Leyland Lynx buses being supplied to Merthyr Tydfil Transport entered service this week as part of a five-year lease package. They have horizontal Leyland TL11 engines, ZF Ecomat automatic gearboxes and are finished in a new blue and white livery. This is the first leasing package of its type to be undertaken by Leyland Bus, and includes contract maintenance which will be carried in Merthyr Tydfil Transport's own workshop. A Royale Tiger Doyen and two Tiger coaches are also included in the lease package.
