• Economic Excavations, the South London earth moving contractor has added two Mercedes-Benz 3025K eight leggers to its fleet of tippers and skip loaders.
The 3025Ks were supplied by the M-B Car and Truck Centre at Cohndale and are equipped with Welford bodies and Edbro tipping gear. Both tippers will be used for a wide variety of work including transferring waste from ECODOM1C'S Bermondsey transit point to a landfill site near Dartford, Kent.
• Combined Lease Finance, the leasing and lease purchase specialists, finished 1986 with pre-tax profits of 22.83 million — up 85% on the previous year. Turnover also rose from 217.06 million in 1985 to 226.28 million.
