profits by 38.6% to 2174.1 million (from 2125.6 million), and its turnover by almost 20%, to 21,950 mitlion (1,630 million). Much of the improvement came in the company's European transport division, where passenger shipping increased profits by 219.5 million(213.1 million). Details of the performance of individual companies within the Group will not be disclosed until the annual report is published.
