• Commercial Recovery and Repair of Ashford has taken delivery of 34 K-registered Leyland Daf 95.330 tractive units for its spot hire and contract rental fleet.
Managing director Terry Williams says: "We have survived the recession by continually renewing our fleet and being able to offer the best trucks and the best service."
CRR put 100 J-reg trucks on the road last year and plans to repeat the excercise with the current K-reg vehicles.
The latest addition to its fivevehicle recovery fleet is an FAT 95.400 6x4 chassis, built to special order with boom and winches from Boniface Engineering of Thetford. Its long (6.4m) wheelbase and ballasted front axle allows for a 15-tonne lift and tow capacity.
