• Rushrlen Granulating is installing a million pound t!.Te crumbing plant at its Northampton factory. Tyres will be shredded and then crumbed; the rubber will be used in the company's products and the steel will he sold for scrap.

When the new plant opens towards the end of the year Rushden will be able to process 400 tyres an hour.
