Nhannel Island Freight held its recent summer reception on board the replica of Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind to celebrate the freight handler's third anniversary.
Some 90 partygoers enjoyed an evening of "eeting, drynking and dyvers pleasures" on the ship — an exact copy of the vessel Drake used to sail around the world in 1580.
Most guests arrived in period costume, and the Hawk is particularly impressed by the efforts made in this direction by drivers John Brodie and Mickie Price, pictured barging in behind more presentable partygoers at St Helier harbour.
