• General haulage firm CMT (Transport) has gone into liquidation owing more than £500,000. The Wakefield-based operator's biggest creditor, the VAT office, has held CMT's nine vehicles and trailers in lieu of an £89,000 debt.
Liquidators O'Hara and Company says the company has no assets to sell. It was bought by the current directors from its previous owners in 1989.
