rose by 4,100 in July, up 5% from July 1986. New registrations of maximum-weight articulated vehicles also rose, by 31% according to the latest Department of Transport figures.
Over the 12 months to the end of July, new registrations of all goods vehicles were up by 4% compared with the previous 12 months, while new registrations of maximum-weight artic units were up by 19%.... On a seasonally-adjusted basis, goods vehicle registrations were 20,800 during May to July — 12% above the previous quarter_
