• Motor distributor Evans Halshaw has recorded halfyear pre-tax profits up more than 80% from £1.33 million to £2.41 million, and its turnover has increased from £16.9 million to £102.8 million. Its Moprod replacement car parts and contract hire divisions are well ahead in their markets, and the company is continuing to enjoy growth, says chairman Geoffrey Dale.
