HIP — the Small Hauliers International Partnership — has lected its first management committee and is now open for usiness.
The 15-man management ommittee was elected at a ieeting at the Partnership's elixstowe headquarters last reek. Chairman is Mr J. W. ;men, secretary Mr G. C. hort, manager Mr A. D. Coton; and former national hairman of the Road Haulage Lssociation, Mr John Wells, is 3 be the Partnership's consulant. The company says that it has over 100 vehicles at its disposal and it is vetting members very carefully.
A statement from Mr Wells says that the company is still open for new members to join and the applications should be addressed to the secretary at the offices at 101A Hamilton' Road, Felixstowe (telephone 78225).
