Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

are taxed as "Farmer's vehicles". I have always understood that I am entitled to carry only produce on these, but I am told that I may carry other things as well. Could you explain?

AYou may carry such things as manure or. agricultural implements as well as produce on your vehicles. The second paragraph of Paragraph 9(1) of Schedule 4 of the Vehicles (Excise) Act 1971 deals with farmers' goods vehicles.

Here it is stated that this description fits a mechanically propelled vehicle registered under the Act in the name of a person engaged in agriculture and used on public roads solely for the purpose of the conveyance of the produce of, or of articles required for the purposes of, the agricultural land which he occupies and for no other purpose.
