one-man bus operation, Sunderland Corporation Transport has ordered, subject to approval by the Town Council, 30 Leyland Panther single-deckers to be fitted with 47-seat bodies by Strachans (Coachbuilders) Ltd., Hamble. Hants.
Strachans are also to build the bodies of six "pilot" single-deckers already ordered by the transport department (" The Commercial Motor", July 23). The chassis concerned are three Daimler Itoadliners and three Leyland Panthers.
