The Northallerton Omnibus Services, Ltd., has just inaugurated a daily limited-stop service linking the northeast coast industrial districts with Blackpool. Connections are made at Lancaster for Morecambe.

Luxurious Gilford coaches, specially appointed for long-distance work, are used on the new service, and, by a working arrangement, passengers conveyed to Northallerton by vehicles of United Automobile Services, Ltd., join the Blackpool express there. By this means passengers who leave, say, Redcar or West Hartlepool, in the morning can reach Blackpool the same afternoon. Brief halts are made en route at Bed ale, Le3.,burn and Hawes. The return fare from Northallerton to Blackpool—a distance of 120 miles—is 15s., and other rates are in proportion.
