Allensway Recycling, based in Holme on Spalding Moor, York, has taken on a rather unusual assignment of moving the Hiller helicopter flown by Pussy Galore in the 1964 James Bond classic Goldfinger from the UK to Italy. The iconic chopper will be used on-set on Guy Richie's next film, which is being filmed in Rome and Naples. Its rotor blades were removed and it was bubblewrapped and crated for the 3,000-mile journey, which is expected to take three weeks. The Volvo FH 500 being used on the job was supplied to Allensway by Crossroads Truck and Bus of Hull.
