Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• lveco showed a doublecab version of the Cargo 7.5-tonner at Hanover, along with a 4x4 chassis and a 9.5-tonne GVW 4x4 fire tender chassis called the EuroFire 95E1 8W.

• The Unimog UX100 multipurpose vehicle (CM 12-18 September) was shown at Hanover in a diesel-electric version known as Vario Drive. The hybrid prototype can run in diesel-electric or battery-only mode (for city centre use) and offers a diesel-hydraulic or electrohydraulic PTO as well as a 220V AC output.

• Mercedes has developed a new engine for the Sprinter van range: the 75kW (100hp) unit is essentially a derated version of the 122hp (90kW) OM 602 direct-injection five-cylinder turbo-diesel. It competes with the 75kW unit fitted to \NV's similar IT van; peak torque is 184Ibft (250Nm) at 2,000rpm. No date has been set for a UK launch.

• Another announcement at Hanover was a four-wheeldrive version of the Sprinter. It uses similar transverse-leaf suspension to the 4x2 with front-wheel drive engaged pneumatically via a dashboard switch.
