Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

member countries? If so would an existing insurance policy giving cover for "Use only for Motor Trade purposes in accordance with the regulations applicable to trade licences " have to be extended to give a minimal form of cover for overseas use?

A The use of trade plates in other EEC member countries seems to be a matter which has to be proved by experience. No attempt seems to have been made by the EEC authorities to establish a common policy on the reciprocal use of trade plates, and the acceptance or rejection of these is a matter for each member country to decide for itself.

The insurance question would, of course, depend on the answer which you receive from the officials of the country to which you write.
