Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SIMPLIFIED version of its well-known 3006 range has been introduced by Atlas Hydraulic Loaders Ltd, Blackwood, Lanarkshire, Scotland. The 3006 E (Economy) model is aimed at the "behind the cab" loader market for municipal work, plant hire and general haulage where a frontloading facility is not required.

The unit has a standard maximum reach of 5.10m (16ft 7in) with manual extension from 3.75m (12ft 4in) and slews through 1930.

When fully stowed the 3006E takes up only 0.6m (2ft). The lifting moment is 6mt (20ft/ton) and capacity ranges from 3,300kg (7,2501b) at 1.8m (6ft 3in) to 1,200kg (2,6401b) at 5.1m (16ft 7in). With optional extensions the loader will lift 467kg (1,0301b) at 9m (29ft 6in). The crane weighs only 940kg (2,0721b).

Control of the unit is through a simplified hydraulics system; the control valve block has built-in fail-safe devices to protect against overloading.

Hydraulic pump capacity is 30 litres (6.6gal) per minute and the lifting and jib cylinders are fitted with check valves to halt movement in the event of a hose failure.

Model 3006E including detachable hydraulic tank, trestle and two bolt-on hydraulic stabilisers, sells for £1,760 plus VAT, about £300 less than the more sophisticated models.
