Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW suspension system which is now being offered as an option on the Mercedes 0.303 range (first British road test, see page 28) is said to offer significant improvements in passenger comfort. Essentially, the suspension uses larger capacity air reservoirs in the full air suspension system normally fitted to the 0.303.

Mercedes engineers claim that this produces an extra damping effect and reduces the amount of vertical acceleration after passing over a bump by as much as 50 per cent.

A new system of picture symbols for switches and controls is also being pioneered on the 0.303. These illuminated signs are mounted on the pushon, push-off dashboard.
