MANY handicapped and underprivileged children have reason to be grateful to Nissan UK for putting a little Oriental sunshine into their lives. Apart from having built and funded a centre for them at Worthing, the company gave 25 Nissan 12seat buses, valued at about £200,000, to children's charities in August.
The vehicles, based on the Urvan and converted by Walkers of Watford, will be appreciated particularly in remote areas where transport is a perpetual problem.
