LIVERPOOL flour miller Wilson King has taken delivery of a 32.5-tonne gcw tri-axle tipping trailer built by Edbro which will be used to transport heavy bran to Kellogs.
The trailer is based on a Craven Tasker chassis with Rubery Owen-Rockwell running gear. An aluminium monocoque design body has been used giving the trailer an unladen weight of 3.79 tonnes with all ancillary equipment.
Three rubber-sealed loading hatches are incorporated into the roof of the trailer, which is raised by an Edbro DD21 front end single ram.
The trailer will be used with a 4x2 ERF C40 tractive unit equipped with a turbocharged Gardner 8LXCT engine and a Fuller gearbox.
