HUNT Engineering, the truck supply and repair firm which aroused strong opposition from residents in Uxbridge, is to take its case to a public enquiry.
Use of the former coach station at 91 Cowley Road, for the sale, repair and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles, upset Frayslea Residents' Association and other neighbours so much that they submitted a petition to Hillingdon Council in December.
In Spring the firm applied for an established-use certificate, but this was refused on the grounds that there was not sufficient evidence of the same use continuously since 1963.
Now a further application has also been turned down by Hillingdon.
