Renwick tie-up

TO BACK UP its current national television advertising campaign, Duckhams Oils have placed a distribution contract with the West Country-based Renwick Group.

It is intended that it will run for 15 months and the two parties see it as particularly appropriate as Renwick's network of depots matches those of Duckhams.

A Renwick transport manager will supervise the contract from Duckham's plant at Aldridge in Staffordshire.

Maggie dumpers

MAGIRUS Deutz is fitting 100 Telehoist Tel-link tipping gears and Lineflow dumper bodies in the course of the next nine months.

The gear tips to 65 deg in 12 seconds, and is popular for civil engineering and quarrying operations.

BRITAIN'S largest car transport company has ordered £2.5m worth of Magirus Deutz articulated tractive units.

Brentwood-based Toleman Group proposes to use the 150 232D16 vehicles from its 22 depots throughout the country. They will help the company meet commitments for British and Continental car transport.
