%YJHEN bulk milk collection was demonstrated at the Royal Dairy Show in London last week, Mr. W. R. Trehane, chairman of the Milk Marketing Board, gave details of the board's plans for increasing this form of milk handling. He said there were at present 20 bulk collection schemes, that six more should be inaugurated this year and that it was anticipated that 16 more would be in operation by June next year.
When this programme had been completed, there were expected to be 112 tankers employed by the board on bulk collection from about 1,500 farms.
