Just too late for announcement in last week's issue came the official information that, in conjunction with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the Commercial Motor Users Association has organized for Friday next, November 6th, a demonstration of municipal appliances consisting of street Sweepers, refuse collectors, gully emptiers, municipal tipping lorries, street sprinklers and washers, etc., during the progress of the Commercial Vehicle Exhibition, the Hammersmith Borough Council having very kindly contented to •afford every facility to enable the vehicles to be practically demonstrated.
This demonstration will be held on the roads adjoining Olympia on the date named from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and municipal officials have been invited.
