FINISHED in cream and black is a handsome Talbot ambulance, comprising the sole exhibit of this concern. The engine is a four-cylinder of 25-50 h.p., side valves being utilized. Comfort is ensured by the use of twin pneumatic tyres at the rear, those in front being single. Two spare tyres on rims are carried on the off side, close to the driver. The interior of the body provides Tccommodation for two stretchers. Metal frames support the stretchers, which hi turn rest on wheels and alternatively upholstered scat cushions with detachable back rests can be placed on the frames to 011ie sitting patients.
Either two stretcher cases or one stretcher case and four sitting cases, 'dr again eight sitting cases can be accommodated in the Talbot ambulance. An attendant's seat is provided at the forward end and a second one is mounted on the rear door, which acts in conjuncttion with a safety door bolt. Exhaust heating is arranged for the interior slid roof lighting and ventilation are installed.
