Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SPANISH manufacturer is looking to introduce its lightweight aluminium landing legs for trailers in the UK, and is seeking a distributor.

Plastecnic’s telescopic legs, which have rocking feet, are designed to work with a tractive unit’s air suspension, raising the suspension height and taking the load off the legs so that they can be retracted. This means they need no winding gear to raise and lower them, as their telescopic sections are easily moved by hand. Each leg is retracted individually and there is no crossbracing. The extension of the telescopic section can be adjusted in 50mm increments by means of spring-loaded locking pin that engages in a series of holes.

A pair of legs weighs 42kg-48kg, making them 50kg lighter than conventional steel landing gear. They are rated for a maximum load of 25 tonnes per pair and cost €360-€420 (£300-£350).
