SMITHS FLOUR MILLS has been given the go ahead for eight vehicles and the same number of trailers at Barrington Mills, Holbeach, Spalding, subject to undertakings: ● all movements and actions of the staff will be executed as quietly as possible; ● reversing klaxons will not be used between 11pm and 6am; ● no more than five vehicle departures will normally take place between midnight and 6am; ● the transport manager will visit the operating centres at least once a month for a full day; ● use of the weighbridge will be kept to a minimum between 11pm and 6am.
