MERCEDES-BENZ is investigating running its parts fleet on biodiesel.
Truck marketing and sales engineering manager Nick Blake says the company does not currently use biodiesel, but is working with suppliers to see if it would be practicable.
M-B's parent DaimlerChrysier produces biodiesel in partnership with Choren Industries and Shell in Germany, but Blake says this is not something the company has considered in the UK until now.
