BAYLIS LOGISTICS has received a seven-figure cash injection from Luxembourg-based TME-Invest the private investment firm run by Theo Willer, sole shareholder of the Mailer Group.
The MUller Group's UK operations include Culina Logistics, the third-party chilled logistics specialist established for Miller in the early 1990s by current Baylis MD Thomas van Mourik.
Baylis company secretary Nigel Jury says: This is a private investment that will be ploughed into our operational improvement programme to enhance the level and range of services we offer."
III Baylis reported pre-tax profits of E24m on a turnover of £40m in 2005.
