Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

test route

After much discussion among the CMtesting team we decided to take some A-road distance off the used test route. This reduces the lap by 21.5 miles to 274.5 miles. We made the cut because our test results suggested that it offered nothing more to the trip than time and expense.

We still start at the Hinckley BP station and head around the A5 towards Tamworth and onto Cannock, then round the M64 to Shrewsbury. But once past Shrewsbury we turn off the 45 onto the A468 towards Welshpool rather than continuing on the AS to Oswestry. At Welshpool we join the A483 and continue as before.

We hit the 444 at Llandrindod Wells and join the 449 at Leominster to head towards Hereford. From here it's easy street along the M50, then via the M5, M42, M40 and A46/445 Coventry bypass to the M69. We turn off onto the A5 and back to our starting point at Hinckley.
