• It's Truckfest time agan. If you've got any interest in road haulage, you'll want to be at the East of England Showground, Peterborough this Bank Holiday (6-7 May). Often copied but never equalled, Commercial Motor Truckfest remains the premier event in the trucking calendar. On the CM stand you'll find seven racing trucks and a brace of wreckers, not to mention Maria Whittaker, who'll be signing autographs both days, along with truck racing ace Slim Borgudd. You'll also be able to buy the full selection of topquality CM regalia; on the Sunday top DJ Dave Lee Travis will be there too.
