racing gear — this is lady truck racer Heather Baillie, who recently made a dream debut at the wheel of a six-tonne, sixwheeler at Brands Hatch. She not only smashed her class lap record and scored two second places, but made the all-star final. Driving the Greenwichbased Chris Hodge Commercials Team Ford Cargo, Heather was the toast of the 35,000 crowd for her man-beating performance. She is now hooked on truck racing — "it was brilliant fun . . . trucks are such amazing things to drive . . ."
