A Ford now holds 59% of the UK car-derived-van market, according to Lex Van Contracts' figures. The Escort van alone accounted for 37% in the first quarter (up 2% on 1989) with the Fiesta in second place. Runner up Bedford, with the Astra and Astramax, has less than halt Ford's share.
