Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The van version of the diesel-engined Dacia Duster 4x4 is now available from dealers. As expected (CM 1-7 February), it is priced at £6,799 (ex-VAT), undercutting its nearest diesel 4x4 rival by over £3,000 and more than 50 have been sold so far.

The Duster will be followed by a long-wheelbase 4x4 pickup which is due to go on sale this month at the equally aggressive price of £6,995, having just completed its UK homologation.

Its most unusual feature is a removable two-piece canvas roof: the driver is protected by a cover between the fully glazed bulkhead and the wind screen, while the load area also has a canvas top.

Only a modest payload is claimed, but the load volume is improved by having pickup

sides which are raised at the rear. It has the same driveline as the van, including the 1.6litre 42kW (56hp) Renault diesel.
