• City Link Transport Holdings has signed contract-hire and maintenance agreements with Wincanton on the vehicles running its express delivery service which offers nationwide same-day and next-morning delivery to the premium end of the market.
It has transferred two drawbar vehicles and eight 7.5tonne box vans fitted with taillifts to the Wincanton contracthire and maintenance agreements. Most of the vehicles are being operated from City Link's control centres at London, Birmingham and Manchester, and all are supported by Wincanton's 24-hour breakdown recovery service.
